{"id":730,"date":"2024-09-06T09:49:50","date_gmt":"2024-09-06T09:49:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.astburyformentera.co.uk\/blog\/?p=730"},"modified":"2024-12-26T17:02:58","modified_gmt":"2024-12-26T17:02:58","slug":"ferries-travel-ibiza-formentera","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.astburyformentera.co.uk\/blog\/ferries-travel-ibiza-formentera\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferries between Ibiza &#038; Formentera"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A fast and frequent ferry service operates between Formentera and Ibiza (35 minutes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are three companies that offer regular ferries between Ibiza and Formentera.<br><br>There are sailings every half hour or hour with a short break between 13:00 &#8211; 15:00.<br>The companies that operate the route are:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Trasmapi<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mediterranea Pitiusa<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Balearia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.proximoferry.com\/\">ferry timetable<\/a>&nbsp;generally operates between 07:00 &#8211; 21:00, Ibiza to Formentera (sometimes there is a 22:00 or 23:00 ferry but you must check this nearer the time of travel).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the high frequency of sailings, you do not particularly need an exact ferry schedule between Ibiza and Formentera in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prices<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are to be used a a guide only<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trasmapi<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adults (14 &#8211; 59 years) &#8211; The normal price is 26.50\u20ac one way and 45.50\u20ac return.&nbsp;<br>The on-line discount price is 43\u20ac return.<br>Children &amp; seniors (2 &#8211; 13 years &amp; 60 years + ) &#8211; The normal price is 18\u20ac one way and 28\u20ac return.<br>The on-line discount price is 26.60\u20ac return.<br>Infants (0 &#8211; 1 years) &#8211; Free<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mediterranea Pitiusa<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adults (13 &#8211; 59 years) &#8211; The normal price is 46\u20ac return.<br>The on-line discount price is 40\u20ac return.<br>Children &amp; seniors (5 &#8211; 12 years &amp; 60 years +) &#8211; The normal price is 34\u20ac return.<br>The on-line discount price is 23\u20ac return.<br>Infants (0 &#8211; 4 years) &#8211; Free<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Balearia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adults (13 &#8211; 59 years) &#8211; The normal price is 26.50\u20ac one way and 45.50\u20ac return.<br>The on-line discount price is 43\u20ac return.<br>Children &amp; seniors (2 &#8211; 12 years &amp; 60 years +) &#8211; The normal price is 17\u20ac one way and 28\u20ac return.&nbsp;<br>The on-line discount price is 21.50\u20ac return.<br>Infants (0 &#8211; 1 years) &#8211; Free<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These operators can change their timetables with little warning, and winter timetables are different to summer timetables so please do not always rely on the websites of any of the operators too far in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transfer from Ibiza to Formentera<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The journey from Ibiza airport to your property in Formentera is quick and easy, this consists of:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A taxi or bus journey from Ibiza airport to Ibiza Old Town ferry harbour &#8211; 15 or 30 minutes.&nbsp; This costs approximately 18 euros in a taxi or&nbsp; \u20ac3.50 per person on the bus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A ferry crossing with any of the companies that operate &#8211; 35 minutes.
